Business Controller / Business Analyst - European Scope
Turn European business data into insights and action. Partner with Finance, Sales and Operations to shape decisions, improve performance and make a real impact.
Are you someone who enjoys working with numbers, but gets even more excited about the story behind them?
Do you like asking questions, challenging assumptions and figuring out how things could work better?
If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, work with people across Europe and have a real impact on business decisions, we'd love to meet you.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Business Controller / Business Analyst to join our Monitors business.
This is much more than a reporting role. You'll work at the intersection of Finance, Sales and Operations, helping our European teams understand business performance, identify opportunities and make better decisions.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and functions, including our headquarters in Taiwan. This means plenty of exposure, interesting challenges and the opportunity to understand how an international business really works.
We're looking for someone who can take ownership, build strong relationships across the business and bring fresh thinking to an established role.
What Will You Be Doing?
Turn data into insights: Analyse sales, margins, costs and profitability across products, markets and business segments. Help the team understand not just what is happening, but why.
Be a business partner: Work closely with European Sales Directors, country teams, Finance and Operations. Understand their challenges, ask the right questions and help them make informed decisions.
Take ownership of reporting and analysis: Prepare and improve financial reports, forecasts, budgets and KPIs, making complex information clear and useful.
Look ahead, not just backwards: Identify trends, potential risks and opportunities. Support scenario analysis and help the business understand the financial impact of its decisions.
Challenge the status quo: Spot gaps, question existing processes and suggest smarter, more efficient ways of working.
Get involved in projects: Support strategic initiatives, business reviews and ad hoc analyses that go beyond your regular responsibilities.
Who Are We Looking For?
First of all, we're looking for someone with the right mindset.
Someone who is curious, proactive and comfortable working independently. Someone who doesn't just wait for instructions, but takes the initiative to find answers.
You'll probably enjoy this role if you:
Think for yourself: You're analytical, ask good questions and enjoy solving problems rather than simply following a process.
Communicate with confidence: You can explain numbers to people who aren't finance specialists, listen to different perspectives and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Take ownership: You're comfortable being responsible for your work, managing priorities and following things through.
Stay curious: You want to understand how the business works and you're always looking for opportunities to learn and improve.
Connect the dots: You understand that numbers only become valuable when they help people make better decisions.
Are comfortable in a dynamic environment: You can balance different priorities, manage stakeholder expectations and stay focused when things get busy.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Around 3 years of experience in business analysis, financial controlling or management accounting.
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and working with large datasets. Basic Excel macro knowledge is expected.
Experience working with SAP. Salesforce knowledge would be a plus.
Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different teams and countries.
A proactive, structured approach and the confidence to work independently.
We don't expect you to know everything, but we do expect you to be curious, resourceful and confident enough to find your own way forward.
Why Join Us?
Because you'll be close to the business, not watching it from the sidelines.
You'll have the opportunity to work with international teams, learn how commercial decisions affect financial performance and contribute to projects that matter.
You'll be able to bring your own ideas, challenge existing ways of working and develop your skills beyond traditional financial reporting.
You'll also gain valuable exposure to different markets, business functions and experienced stakeholders, giving you a broader understanding of how a global business operates.
Most importantly, you'll join a team that values initiative, independent thinking, open communication and a willingness to learn.
Sounds Like Your Kind of Challenge?
If you're ready to take responsibility, keep learning and make your work count, we'd love to hear from you.
